When Acorn and Oak, two curious dragons from the Seven Oak Meadow, decide to explore the seaside, they never expect to meet Kelpy, the little green dragon who calls the beach his home. From the tantalizing scent of barbecues and sunscreen to the thrilling rides at the funfair, the trio embarks on a day filled with adventures. Whether it’s sliding down the helter-skelter, soaring high on the Ferris wheel, or galloping on the beach with the fastest donkeys in the land, every moment is a new discovery. But the biggest surprise awaits them at Rowlands, the candy stall, where a familiar face offers them sweet treats. As the sun sets, the dragons reflect on their unforgettable day, cherishing new memories and friendships. Join Acorn, Oak, and Kelpy in this heartwarming tale of fun, friendship, and magical moments at the seaside. Suitable for children who believe in the magic of adventure and the power of friendship.

Robert was brought up in South Wales in the 1970s with his two brothers and his younger sister, where they enjoyed a happy and carefree life. Robert would write stories and get all the local kids to act out the parts in the form of a play performed for the mums that gathered at his home. He is a very accomplished artist, mostly painting animals of all types but mainly horses as they play a huge part in his life. His teaching riding to children over the years has given him many happy hours entertaining children whilst they learn how to ride horses and ponies.
