This is the journey of a lady pushing through many of life’s twists and turns,

this is the blood, sweat and tears of 72 years,

this is my heart in your hands,

this is the discovering,

the loving,

the hurting,

the breaking,

the healing.

Sandra Green was born in 1948, in a small village in North Yorkshire. Sandra is the youngest of four children.

Throughout her life, she has achieved copious amounts of life experiences, which have opened many doors. Sandra spent the majority of her employment in accounting; however, she also ran her own pub and travelled worldwide.

In 2009, Sandra was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. This inspired her to start writing in a bid to help raise extra funds for the local Parkinson’s group. Furthermore, her passion for life and love of poetry has led her to creating her own beautiful book of poems.
