Despite being a full-time chef, Adam Longden fulfilled a lifelong ambition when his debut fiction novel The Caterpillar Girl was published in October 2016. This was followed by its sequel, Seaside Skeletons, the third book in the series Asylum, and a separate novella, Eva: A Grown-up Fairy Tale.
Adam has three children and resides in the East Midlands where the majority of his books are set.

As always a brilliant read by Adam Longden. A different book to the usual, a serious topic that has some real laugh out loud moments. The characters all come to life through the storytelling and when finished I really wanted to read more about this family's life, well actually more about the ghosts' observations of the family and the modern world. Their unique personalities and perspectives were both funny and poignant. Loved it!
