“I am the end of all things to all things” – Amara

David was enjoying his very normal life until his world collapsed in on itself.

Grief and personal tragedy lead our unlikely hero to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of his young family and uncover a mystery that goes beyond our world and into the next. Unfortunately for David, a man in some very dark glasses is also on the case. Will he assist David or will he be an Instrument of Death?

Speaking of Death, the lord of the dead has a problem. One of the most dangerous men that has ever existed has managed to hide himself and his followers from the dark masters gaze. What follows is a unique story featuring time travel, otherworldly beings, a civilisation at the centre of the earth, a gem that could alter our very existence and an adventure unlike anything youve ever read.

G.W. Macleod is an author from Aberdeen in the northeast of Scotland who spends his days walking tremendous distances and spending time with his family. He enjoys learning not to burn meals, reading books, playing video games from the ’90s and keeping the house of Macleod in good order.

Great premise, really enjoyed the characters but I felt it could have been more action-packed. I kind of wanted more death but I still rather enjoyed it

A gripping revenge turned redemption story of a man who has lost everything and hit rock bottom. Would have liked more in-depth character development with backstory and would have liked to have seen the main character get in a few more kills before death himself intervened but overall a great little book

This was pretty good! The violent climax scene in the book was the highlight. I'd have loved more darkness. This author however has a way of bringing a scene to life with his words.

What a page-turner! I could not put it down, and read it in one sitting. It’s one hundred percent original nothing else like it. Dark, creepy, and powerful. A mind-blowing and emotional and at times disturbing story that I found utterly addictive and sinister. I highly recommend people read it, it was so good!

If you love imaginative short stories then you will definitely love this book. I was utterly captivated by the authors storytelling prowess and imaginative flair. The depiction of mixed emotions resonated deeply with me. This book goes far beyond merely being fantastical with its magic and elements of creative spin on death and afterlife, instead it also delves into reality, encourages profound contemplation and undeniably mirrors the intricate web of human relationships and our emotional state when dealing with loss and hardships beyond our control that virtually everyone can find relatable.

Fast paced, super interesting concept. Dark and intriguing but not particularly scary but definitely a little unsettling. This book really surprised me with how good it was. The characters were very distinct and believable, I suspect the author has direct experience with certain emotional traumas or just did his research really well because the little details of how the characters behaved under circumstances that they were placed in was perfect. Anyone who has experienced similar will likely know how accurate this is. The book could have used a slightly better editor, a few things could have been worded better but it doesn’t distract from the overall story. Shoutout to the narrator who did the audiobook absolutely brilliant voice couldn’t be more perfect was a pleasure from start to finish to listen to he really captures the essence of the story and brings the characters to life.
