George Rosling, born in Glasgow in 1960, has a wife, Lisa, and two children, Graeme and Eva. He is in the process of releasing a series of children's books that involve children from different ethnic backgrounds. He will introduce kids at an early age to cultural awareness and religious education. In this multi-cultural society he is looking to encourage the children to teach the adults all about their friends' religions, cultures and beliefs.

Rosling will have the children participating in various adventures that will involve each culture in tandem, and show how the children enjoy sharing their celebrations with each other as well as with their families. He is an avid believer in equality for all races and religions and wants to bring this across in this series of books for children.

Wow.......this book is excellent in-fact it teaches children about their own cultures and beliefs. It shows an intelligent appreciation of mixed cultures starting to bond together through the eyes of our children. This is most definitively the way forward for learning in our society..

This is the first book i have bought from this author. It is a very good story and my children have read it, they were impressed
The characters were great and kids can relate to them easy. the drawings are great. All in all a very good book/read. I would recommend this to anyone looking forward to the next books to come along.

I was impressed by the way that the author captured the idea to amalgamate different cultures together. The children are enjoying learning about each others religions and habits and will also learn so much about other cultures and beliefs. The idea that they then become friends for life adds another star as far as im concerned - im impressed.......well done George Rosling

Im not quite sure where to start to be honest. The only thing I can say is that I feel that this concept of bringing different cultures together has been a long time coming. I think this will go down particularly well in primary schools where children can grasp cultural awareness and religious education from alternative persceptives. Good luck to the author on his journey with this book and I hope it brings him success.

I bought this book for my children. It’s wonderfully diverse and informative. It’s relevant for today’s children’s reading and it’s interesting and bright. My children love it and so does my class of reception children. Can’t wait for the next one.

Even although I don't have young children of my own I bought a copy of this book on recommendation from a friend. After reading the book and letting my neighbour also read it I was surprised how much we both enjoyed it. The concept and the camaraderie between the children was impressive and will teach the younger generation how to form friendships with each other even between children of mixed race. My neighbours 6 years old daughter thought it was good and is taking a copy into her school to show her friends. I would recommend this book to anyone as its an excellent read.

Fantasic storyline with brilliant characters. The Author knows how to capture the imagination of the audience with an exciting story in an educational manner. Four children from different backgrounds, cultures, and nationalities, thrown together and become best friends.

I can see many adventures coming our way.

    Highly recommended !!

I bought the first book directly from the author and had him sign my copy. I then let my nieces read the book, they love it.
My youngest niece has now informed me that she has made lots of new friends just like the characters in the book. We can't wait for the next one.

Was given a copy of this book and the message it presents is incredible. Cultural awareness is a must today. Through this book, the author finds a way to integrate such awareness in both an educational and entertaining manner. This is a fantastic read for primary aged children. I also recommend this book to stem discussions in R.E. and cultural lessons within primary schools. A massive well done to this author.

  • Edward McInley

Good idea and well illustrated for a children's educational series of books. The theme of teaching kids cultural awareness at an early time in their development is awesome as its when they are most likely to take notice before other influences can affect their opinions......well done you,, Mr. Rosling.
