  Wonderful book which is beautifully delivered. This is a very moving story and everyone should read this and be aware and tolerant of people who differ from ourselves. In these days of me me me, we should consider those less fortunate. However, this is not a sad book and can be enjoyed by all.

  Beautifully written and illustrated, just right for the target age for children say 4 to 6 years. Teaching children to become aware of our personal differences in life, and most importantly to be kind and tolerant of others, a much needed lesson in today’s society. I would not hesitate to read this to my grandchildren , a wonderful bedtime read, perfect length too for the first instalment, and I very much look forward to the next adventure of Jessica Bunnyduck!

  I was lucky enough to read this lovely book with my two children. We all fell in love with little Jessica Bunny Duck as she navigated her new home and her new family. I especially liked how this story showed a caring and nurturing family coming together to wholly accept Jessica, even though she is a little bit different from them. Love and kindness is such an important lesson that I think this book teaches perfectly.

  The Arrival of Jessica Bunny Duck is a good little story with good illustrations telling younger children that it is ok to be different and there are people who care. Good read for children , hopefully this is the first of many books to come.

  The Arrival Of Jessica BunnyDuck by Harry Bird is a beautiful book and just perfect for the under fives.
  The book teaches our children that it is okay to be different on the outside. Inside we are all the same with our basic needs for food, warmth and love.
  The message of the book teaches our children to love and care as we see an abandoned baby welcomed into a family unit. We learn the concept of sharing what we have with those around us who have nothing.
  Roy Bugden has beautifully and simply illustrated the whole book. The ducks and Jessica appeal to all with their big eyes and friendly faces. Each page is a starting point for discussions with our children.
  The Arrival Of Jessica BunnyDuck is a beautiful and perfect addition to any child’s library.

  Fantastic story which my children loved. It really helped with conversations about how we are all very different but that we should still treat everybody with the same care and respect. Hoping to see more stories very soon.
