Rhodri has been making up children’s stories since his son was small. Now, he has written a series of stories about Flora bee, prompted by seeing small bees in the garden ‘learning to fly’.

Spent a wet Sunday afternoon caught up on the sofa with my granddaughter and Flora Bee, she absolutely loved it.
The Adventures Of Flora Bee: Saving Ruth Bee And Other Stories by Rhodri Davies is an absolutely delightful book for young children.
There are four individual tales which are totally charming and cleverly thought out. Adults reading the tales will raise a smile as we recognize several play-on-words. I particularly liked Red Bee Racing and also the fact that the whole of Wales was singing just one song all the time – Delilah by Tom Jones! That tale was hilarious.
The winning formula of double page spreads with six illustrations and six rhyming couplets continues to delight young and old alike.
Rob Anderson has once more beautifully and cleverly illustrated the whole book.
I really enjoyed all the Flora Bee books. They are totally charming, very clever and a pure delight.
I received a free copy from the publishers. A favourable review was not required. All opinions are my own.
