Mina, a Lufthansa flight attendant, and Adam, a trainee police detective, establish a loving relationship formed around an astounding story (purported to be true) that boggled police investigators and medical examiners in LA. The story investigates the legal ramifications associated with a bizarre death that was chosen as the most unusual case on record for presentation at the 25th Anniversary dinner of the American Association of Forensic Scientists.

It may be difficult to envisage a growing romance within the confines of a murder mystery; however, the unusually volatile pressures and emotions that surround this case are, in fact, the perfect vehicle to exhibit the unique personalities of the involved characters. This story is sometimes bizarre and sometimes amusing and it becomes quite difficult to keep in mind that a large part of it is claimed to have really happened.

Ian Ross Vayro was born in Townsville, North Queensland, Australia. He was raised in a farming community near Dalby and attended a one-teacher primary school.

On leaving ‘the bush’, he was educated in Brisbane and for a time returned as a working cowboy on a station near Roma. He later served in the Royal Australian Air Force, which allowed him to travel extensively and instilled the discipline he has utilized in most endeavours since.

Ian Ross was a musician and a DJ and studied Electronic Engineering, then Classical Ancient History and Archaeology, a somewhat unusual mix, and tempered this with a lifelong interest and personal research in Theology.

He actively created a successful business life, becoming the best in his business field, culminating in his own hugely successful Outdoor Advertising Company. Ian achieved greatly through a commitment and focus and somewhat perfectionist attitude which he has transferred to his research and work as an author.

Ian Ross now lives on acreage with horses and dogs, near Lake Wivenhoe…an hour from Brisbane in Queensland, Australia, and enjoys the peace and tranquillity of this beautiful location.
