Miss George enjoyed an idyllic childhood, growing up in rural Herefordshire and Somerset. She spent summers running around green fields chasing butterflies, picnicking by streams and had lots and lots of animals to play with.
Miss George now lives in Surrey along with her horses Lulu and Louis and her very naughty little dog, Mildred. Scrabble Goes on a Picnic is Miss George’s third book, she is also the author of My New Pony Book and My New Puppy Book.

'My 4 year old niece absolutely loved this book. We have been reading it together and delighting in the character of Scrabble and all her friends. I would highly recommend this to anyone with young children as the story is the perfect length to keep their attention and the interactive spot the difference and quiz at the end are such a wonderful idea for really engaging inquisitive minds and add another layer to the book.
I love this book! I gave one to my nephew when the family got a Jack Russell and he absolutely loves it. It’s both fun and great to introduce kids to lots of different ideas with an amazing use of vocabulary. It makes a perfect gift can’t recommend it enough.
I’ve read this to my niece, who loved the story! She especially enjoyed the whimsical animal names and the spot the difference puzzle at the end.
What a wonderful story for children. My daughter is 5 and absolutely loved Scrabble. She wanted to read it again and again! Would definitely recommend.
