Elvira covets the power of five, and on the coldest of days, she watches as Oliver and Eleanor leave the white castle, which is covered in ice and shrouded in freezing fog. They board the sleigh provided by Elvira, and wrapped in furs for protection against the winter storm created by her wrath, they set out on their long and perilous journey.

Meanwhile, Cressida, the rainbow fairy, aware of Elvira’s intentions, has sent her brother Dante and Oberon, the giant white stag, to the realm of men to persuade the two princesses, Alice and Mary, to come to the fairy kingdom and be reunited with their sister and brothers. But nothing is that simple.

If Elvira is successful, she will have the power of five within her grasp: the power to overthrow a kingdom and remove Cressida as the most powerful of fairies. But Cressida will not give up her place without a fight.
