This book is filled with poems that will speak to the individual’s soul. Words coming from experiences that many have been through. From a person’s darkest times to their brightest days, their lowest moments to their highest points – a book of truth that’s refreshing to the mind. A book that shows courage, strength and spirit from each story that is hidden between the lines of every poem that is read. From tales of love to the fights a person is forced to face, the wars inside a person’s mind to the friendships formed along each journey, a troubled past to the future that can and needs to be, a child in its first days on this earth to the time that child is ripped away.

A relatable collection that will take your mind to its most vulnerable points and open your eyes to feelings that many have felt but have never understood.

Cheyanne Martin was born on the 5th of December 2001 in Bolton, England. She studied at Thornleigh Salesian College for 5 years where she gained knowledge to strengthen and encourage her writing due to the experience she had and went through throughout her journey. She then went on to study public service for a further two years at Bury College where she learnt about subjects such as criminal minds, crime and the effects that these have on society. This course helped her understand people’s minds on a new level which inspired her writing in a way she had never tried before. Cheyanne is a young writer whose work is inspired by the situations people go through in life and the emotional connections that go along with them. She started to write at a young age about the things she had seen and how those things affected the people around her so that others could relate to her work and find comfort in the words that she wrote. Her aim as a writer is to help people understand the emotional effects on a person and how the actions people do can have both a positive and negative impact on how they feel.
