Thank you for the book, which we find it refreshing. Sadly, we don't have many books on this theme in the market. So, this is very much welcomed. Looking forward to reading the next book by this author.
Thank you for this book, which exposes and explains to my children about the journey of getting prosthetic legs. They are so fascinated by it and we have read it for more than three times! Highly recommended. Thank you, once again. Looking forward to this author’s next book.
A valuable resource for disability and inclusivity field, especially for children's area. It is a rare 'niche' material / story and gives you a further insight into how the people who lost their leg/ legs deal with the circumstances while navigating their way to get new legs. Highly recommended. *****
This creative work is such an inspiration and employs the concepts of inclusivity! As an author, I am encouraged by the dedication and passion captured in the illustrations and dialogue of this book. Thank you, Ms Mansor-Clark, for the beautiful and inspiring children's book.
I loved this book! It was kinda sad how Arianna’s Dad’s leg got amputated at first. However, in the end she and her Dad managed to overcome that together. Now, they can live a happy live together with their family! She can still play with her Dad although it is not as convenient now. This book has really helped me appreciate how my Dad still has both his legs and can play with me when he is free. I would love to have more books written by this author as this book has really helped me appreciate the simpler things in life. This book is perfect for children of all ages to read as it is a simple book that still has an interesting story. I have already reread it a couple of times as I find it an enjoyable book. I am sure you will find it as entertaining as I did!
Highly recommended. We enjoyed it very much. Sad and happy

The author wrote the story with heart! By reading the book you can feel how a six year old Arianna felt throughout the whole process of her dad’s situation. Highly recommended book to educate children about being resilience and patient.

“My Dad’s New Legs” is an inspiring and reassuring story to share with young minds about unexpected change and adapting to a new way of living. After six year old Arianna’s father is in an accident and has his leg amputated below the knee, she experiences fear and uncertainty about his recovery. The vibrant illustrations in this book convey in careful detail the seriousness of his accident, his recovery journey and his triumphant assortment of new legs. I really appreciated that the story explains terms that might be unfamiliar to younger readers. After her initial uncertainty, Arianna grows to love her dad’s new legs. The story reveals that after a serious accident, with time, love and different types of support, a ‘new normality’ can be found again. The book also has a helpful glossary which younger readers may look into further if they wished to learn more. I loved the special messages of positivity and patience and highly recommend this book to everyone.
A lovely tale and a worthwhile addition to any school or holidays me library. Thank you.
A very touching and beautifully written story - and I love the illustration!
