Christina Cornwell was born towards the end of the Second World War. She lived in a small hamlet near Hawkhurst in Kent. She was privately educated by her adoptive parents. After passing the 11 plus, Christina attended Tonbridge Technical College and married Michael in the '60s. She has four grown-up children and now lives with her beloved dogs in Dorset.
