Marie was born and reared in Greystones, Co Wicklow Ireland, she was the 7^th child of 11 children. Since her retirement she divides her time between the USA and Ireland visiting her four children and grandchildren and her large extended family. The inspiration for this book came from babysitting her very active two-year-old Grandson Weslee
