Lacey Loo is a little elf who loves adventure. She decides to stow away on Santa's sleigh on Christmas Eve. She discovers some of the most amazing wonders of the world; however, she falls asleep with all of the excitement and awakes in a place called Derry. It is here she discovers just how magical Christmas really is.
The author is from Derry in Northern Ireland and lives with her husband of 15 years and four beautiful children. After the birth of her second child, she decided to change careers, so she qualified in early years. She loves how children discover the world around them, their innate curiosity and absolute honesty fascinates her. It is through this that she became inspired to write children's books.

    This is a wonderful little book, full of magic for kids young and old. The description of her journey is delightful, full of texture and complimented by the glossy rich illustrations, it is a joy to show and read to my kids. I think this makes an excellent Christmas gift.

    I love the writing in this book, it allows the reader to visualise the scene so clearly. The illustrations then add to this with how vibrant and warm they are. I can't wait to see where lacey loos next adventure will take us.
