Gillian Eden-Walley is a retired concert pianist. Her early studies were with a pupil of Tobias Matthay and then at the Royal College of Music in London with Angus Morrison, Cyril Smith and Herbert Howells. After winning the Countess of Munster Award she settled in Devon, giving recitals, television and radio performances. Gillian Eden-Walley also established a reputation as a first-class piano teacher. She returned to England after two years abroad and settled in Berkshire, giving the occasional charity recital and enjoying her passion for the garden.
