Now, if you thought just because the title of this book is Jezebel, it is about you know who, I’ve some good and bad news for you, which one do you want first?Okay, bad news it is.At least, until this protagonist silences the little voice in her head that keeps telling her to conform and be ordinary, she will not be able to create a story worth telling. The good news is she has the potential but not before she untangles the web of murder mystery ensnaring her. That said, this reclusive protagonist, preferring the crisp logic of technology over the societal rules that do not serve her, does not only find solace in the digital realm, but she also devises an AI to aid her in understanding the mysteries of the ancient Egyptian society. This is until deceased bodies are discovered bearing tattoos of the symbols she had coded into the AI, giving her mundane life a whole new spin. What does she do?Well, we all know debug is not a pill available in drug stores, so she delves further into the technology and the new places it opens for her, every line of code she deciphers and every ancient rule she unravels, drawing her closer to a reality more startling than she could have ever envisioned. Except, the path to vindication becomes burdened with ancient rules encapsulated in a sacred book she must adhere to before she is able to debug the AI.Join Jezebel in a journey unbounded by time and space where she encounters the good and evil of the ancient world, and who is best to do it with but the historical and mythical figures she meets along the way!

Dalica has been drawn to the power of artistic expression through writing since childhood, a trait undoubtedly influenced by her father, who not only penned personalised songs for each of his children but also composed the melodies and serenaded them throughout his life. Among these cherished melodies, one dedicated to Dalica stands as a testament to the values she holds dear:

My Dalica, my darling daughter,

If wisdom is sought, she inherits her mother’s,

If beauty is sought, she mirrors her aunt’s,

If knowledge is sought, she echoes her father’s,

If prosperity is sought, she emulates her grandfather’s,

My Dalica, my darling daughter.

Growing up in a household where creativity was revered, Dalicas mothers mastery in crafting bespoke garments for every special occasion and her fathers engineering expertise, notably in projects connecting hydropower electricity across southern Ethiopia, laid the foundation for her multifaceted worldview. Dalicas grandfather, fluent in Arabic, Italian, and numerous tribal languages, served as a diplomat under both Emperor Haile Selassie and during the regime of Mengistu Haile Mariam, instilling in her a reverence for cultural diversity and diplomacy. Unfortunately for the two men, political instability in the region meant that their success did not end well, leading to Dalica’s migration.

From earlier in her life, Dalica was praised to meet high standards, and this pursuit has remained a driving force throughout her life. While she is proficient in several languages, her years in Australia have led her to primarily write in English, with plans for translations into her native tongues. Dalicas writing reflects her fascination with ancient wisdom, encapsulating her belief in the importance of balance, discipline, and moderation in both literature and life.

Dalica holds a bachelor’s degree in law and commerce and brings a strong knowledge-base and sense of professionalism to her work. Despite her many achievements, Dalica remains humble and always seeks to have a positive impact on the lives of others, inspiring them to achieve their potential.
