Mary Oketcho-Dicks was born in Uganda, Africa in 1954 and moved to the United Kingdom in 1999. She has lived there ever since and is now a British citizen.


Mary likes traveling and studying. Even after she had suffered a stroke in 2018, she went back to the university. She has done well since and hopes that her story in this book will empower others to do what is necessary to live a normal life.
