In the sun-kissed lands of Queensland, Australia, a spirited family of Green Beans thrives on their lush vine. But their idyllic life takes a twist when they overhear the farmer’s plans for a spicy bean curry. Determined not to end up on a dinner plate, they embark on a whimsical quest to transform into something delightful and fun. Told in enchanting rhyme, this tale captivates the hearts of young listeners and their guardians alike, making it a cherished bedtime classic.

Leah Bryant was born in Maine, USA and immigrated with her three daughters to Australia in 1982 with minimal funds and no prospective job. She did, however, have a degree in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science. After around four months and her funds decreasing to a grand sum of $500, she received three simultaneously running programming contracts and the work morphed into a successful IT company.

Green Beans in Blue Jeans was written in early 2000 soon after the first three of her six grandchildren were born and during the time she was still working in IT and building and/or renovating houses in her spare time. Because she was told by production houses that she needed an agent, the book laid dormant for 20 years until 2021 when it was resurrected and sent to Austin Macauley.
