Carl was born in a small Lancashire town just post-war. Living in a rented, very small cottage with a little stream. A working-class family with five siblings. Leaving a memory of this idyllic home at around five years old when it was flooded, which demolished the home.
I absolutely loved this book. It is uplifting positive funny and full of feel good feelings. The author tells the story of his own life and his ability to spot business opportunities from a very young age is truly remarkable. I would strongly recommend this book as a must read.
