I’ve come to understand that loss, while taking much, can also give. It can offer hope, strength, and most importantly, love. Such is the boundless love of God, who loved us so deeply that He gave His one and only Son to die for all of us—yes, all of us, including you—no matter what you have done (John 3:16). Sometimes, His love arrives shrouded in the darkness of loss, but even then, His promise remains unchanged: He came so that you and I may have life, and have it in abundance (John 10:10). So, beloved, as loss has taken from you, I ask: what has it given in return? Remember, perception is everything.

Lebohang Motsapi is a clinical psychologist in training; the last of six children born to the late MJ Motsapi and DL Mokoena, she was born and raised and to this day lives in a township called Sebokeng within the Vaal Triangle close to Vereeniging in a neighbourhood called Hostel.

She’s a writer, an auxiliary nurse, and holds various degrees; such as an undergraduate degree in behavioural sciences, honours degree in health sciences psychology, and an honours degree in organisational and industrial psychology.

She is an evangelist and founder of ‘Decluttered Minds’ and of a movement called ‘Rectifying the Walk with the Lord’ and ‘Graceful Provision Unlimited’, an epitome of the Lord’s constant and underserved provision and grace upon her life by which she hopes to do the same for others.

Lebohang was exposed to books at a young age in which she bonded with her late father; she then started writing short stories while in high school and also received a certificate for the best learner in the English language as a subject in the school’s international assessment tests conducted by the University of New South Wales in collaboration with the Gauteng provincial government.

Lebohang loves cooking and uses it as a form of cathartic experience; she aspires to own a wellness centre where people can come and tend to their emotional needs while getting closer to the Lord. She also aspires to give back through her organisation ‘Graceful Provision Unlimited’ by providing academic assistance to underprivileged children, provide food and clothing to various shelters and move the word of the Lord to all corners of the world. She is an aspiring mentor for young girls who require academic assistance, assistance with life difficulties as well as learn about the Lord.

When she is not pursuing her professional endeavours, Lebohang enjoys cooking, listening to music, watching sermons, reading novels and the Bible as well as holding sermons founded on rectifying the walk with Lord, a ministry she was called to in 2022, and further get people to understand the Lord’s power and goodness over their lives.
