Alora has a strange oddity; she can talk to inanimate objects. Maybe that’s why her parents put her in F.A.U.X. – a mental health institution, when she was just a kid. One day a shape shifter named Ace takes her away from the only place she’s ever known, to meet more people with strange oddities. Alora learns of a whole new world where she is not branded as crazy; where she has freedom and friends and sometimes might need to trust less willingly. Alora helps her new people fight a battle much more dangerous than she could have hoped while dealing with something that looms around in her dreams. Will Alora regret leaving the safety of F.A.U.X. or will she be satisfied with an exciting life with no rest?

Alice Cassiopeia lives in Witbank, South Africa.

She has always dreamed about being a writer and hopes that this manuscript will be her ticket into the writing community.

Alice was born in 1997 and works as a secretary. Needless to say, her life is not one of excitement; perhaps, that is why she loves fiction in all of its forms.

She hopes that one day people will use her stories to take a much-needed break from reality.
