What a pleasure it is to open this beautiful book. Inspired by his surroundings near Firenze, Italy the author has created a book that appeals to both young children and older adults. Dewey and the Dragonfly is a story about the relationship and friendship that develops between a young boy and a dragonfly. The story is very simple with large type fonts making it an easy read for young children. Interwoven into the story are stunningly beautiful illustrations each one worthy of being framed and mounted on a wall. The author and artist Dewi Tudur has a very special style and his works of art are much in demand. He often exhibits at Oriel Ffin y Parc Art Gallery in Llanwrst, North Whales. This book is highly recommended.
