Having a dark past, she left it all behind… At least she tried to. When Bullet moved from Prismatic to Colour Coded, her previous boss, Neon, did everything in his power to win her back. But, knowing the kind of man he was, she did not accept any of his pleas. After his begging turns into threats, Bullet and the rest of Colour Coded are forced into a dangerous chess game as a means of not only protecting their own, but protecting their pasts. In the end, a choice must be made. What means more to her, her Colour Coded family… or her horrific history she has shielded for so many years?

Katy Jordan was born and raised in Stirling, Scotland. Since an early age she has dreamed of becoming a writer and/or actress, and for the last six years she has been pursuing both.

I'm not an avid reader but this book had me hooked. Never heard of the author but hats of to her. A couple of bits seemed as though they were drawn out and sorta lengthy but then she chucked in a well placed plot twist that you'd never see coming and it made it all make sense... well worth a read!

Initially what drew me to this book was a spy thriller set in Scotland! It's such a unique setting for a very cool story. Katy is really clever in creating such an enticing world that you want to keep finding out more about. What's even better is that it's not an origin story, you are thrown right into these characters hectic and crazy lives and you understand them further as their missions get more scary and dangerous. It's a really fun ride and I can't wait to read what happens next!

I would not normally read this genre but once I started the book, I couldn't put it down. The story is gripping, with such an original idea of giving colours to the characters instead of names. I think Katy Jordan has done a wonderful job of her first novel and I'm sure there will be many more to follow.

Action-packed adventure with colorful characters, each with its own past to be explored. Double Berrell's load of suspense, guns, and cars, is topped off with a mysterious villain with an axe to grind.
    Well worth a read!
    And looking forward to more!

I'm in love with this amazing book, it kept me on the edge of my seat and desperate to know what happens to Bullet, Flare, and the rest of Colour coded. Loving that it's set in Scotland and is actually accurate in the sights gives you a different perspective in an investigation. Waiting avidly with bated breath to read the next installment in what is my new favorite thriller series from the talented Ms. Jordan
