Brilliant! PF Farraday captures the essence of Christmas.
He ingeniously makes me read on with his easily digestable and beautifully written stories!
The writer has given me a wonderful Christmas!!
I purchased the book last week and got a little greedy and read four stories in one night.
I couldn't put it down!

This author has captured my heart from the first story 'Rudolph's New Sleigh'.
His short and simple stories make good bedtime reading even for my eleven year old daughter.
Each page is a turner in every the sense of word.
I'm saving the last two stories for December 31st. :)
After buying PF Farraday's Christmas Stories and reading the first three short,
terrific and delightful stories decided to purchase a copy for presents for all my family this year!
"Christmas Stories" written by PF Farraday is a wonderful collection of twelve magical short stories reflecting the spirit and essence of Christmas and all it should truly represent.
The first story 'Rudolph's New Sleigh' pulls you straight into Christmas with a story that's just perfect for telling kids on Christmas Eve, I could imagine the tale with such clarity based on my perception of the story of Santa Claus. I was also very moved by 'The Worst Gift....EVER' with the sequel 'The Best Christmas.....EVER' and I defy anyone not to feel emotion by the end of reading the latter.
All the stories have a range of morals or principles in them, some with a twist, some that will pull on the heartstrings. I thoroughly enjoyed all of them, since there is such a variety in themes from historical to modern to fairy tale like. This is a book that can be read in a couple of sittings or you could read a story a day in the run up to Christmas, quite perfect as a quirky style of advent.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this superb book, the stories really make you stop and think at a time when material items seem to have overtaken the spirit of Christmas and also as the author hopes - that you will use them to carry a glow in your heart.
