One of four children, Steph lives in Hampshire with her two cats, Pickles and Asher. She has lived independently for 39 years, and although illness has got in the way many times, has still managed to hold down various jobs, the main one being nursing, where she qualified as a State Enrolled Nurse in 1980.
She has raised money for various charities including the Samaritans and MIND. Her hobbies include watercolour painting, knitting and listening to music.
