Many people growing up often feel inadequate. as a former probation officer, executive/life coach and professor, Dr. S.K. Grunin learned how to fit in uncomfortable situations, through humour and working with others. She believes that it is important that children learn at a young age how to manage these issues and use humour to build their self-esteem. Thus, she created Little MisFit (LMF) a fictional character who, through humorous tales, shares life lessons that she learns as she is growing up. Through these stories, LMF describes how she learned to overcome many life challenges and accept who she is as a person. Furthermore, the tales allow adults to share their own tales without coming off “too preachy” and to be able to share their own life lessons.
Book 1 of Life Lessons and Tales of LMF – Life Isn’t Always What It Seems is the winner of two awards – the 2020 Pinnacle in YA genre and 2021 Top 10 Author Elite for Children and Middle Grades over 40-plus 5-star reviews on Amazon and other sites.
