Yvonne Ridley’s Book Makes It to The Times
Austin Macauley’s talented author, Yvonne Ridley and her book, The Caledonians, gets featured in an article on The Times website on 3rd March 2020. The article ‘Donkeys to chickens – my friend’s amazing life’, written by Kenny Farquharson presented the meeting of the reporter with the author and her opinion of the book by stating, “It is a fantastical work of adventure, politics, romance, Scottish history and a 500-year-old history teacher.”
The Caledonians is a young-adult novel with the main lead, Mr Petrie, a master of Scottish history, who’s been gifted with eternal life. He works for different mystical superior beings. Since his work is dangerous, he is asked to find an apprentice for assistance. Check out the book here.
Yvonne Ridley is a British journalist and has been working in the field for four decades. She has written many books; however, The Caledonians is her first attempt to fiction writing.
