Winnipeg Free Press Newspaper attended the launch event of The Adventures of Georgie Sheppard: Georgie Meets Nikola Tesla by G. Geoffrey Banjavich. The newspaper featured his interview and shed a positive light on his book. He also made the city's McNally top 5 paperback sellers list, and he was the only sci-fi writer on the list in its entirety.

The Adventures of Georgie Sheppard: Georgie Meets Nikola Tesla is a sci-fi about a troubled fourteen-year-old boy who is transported to the 19th century through an increasingly weird succession of realistic dreams. Georgie sets on a dangerous expedition that may jeopardise the fabric of time and reality itself altering the course of history.

G. Geoffrey Banjavich was inspired by Nikola Tesla long before he built his first Tesla coil as a young boy. He studied philosophy of science and is also an established entrepreneur and inventor. He has also proven himself as a film and TV actor, model, screenwriter, script editor and speechwriter.
