The author Caleb Compton’s A Book of Rather Strange Animals was featured on the blog of the website Project Aware. The book aims to raise awareness about the endangered species of the animals around the world, stated by the blog. The author himself said that it’s a high time people should realize the worth of these untapped species which are on the brink of extinction. He further added that a small amount of every sale would be donated to WWF.

Caleb Compton got a specialized degree in Animal Biology from the University of Exeter in 2016. At a young age, he developed a keen interest in animals by watching numerous nature documentaries. The positive response he received on his Twitter account made him write this book.
