The author C. T. Mitchell was featured on the website tweeddailynews.com.au on 13th July 2019 for his book Murder Secret. The news article stated that the murder mystery created by Mitchell in his novel has made its way to the video streaming giants Netflix and Amazon Prime. The article further included the details about the author, stating that Mitchell’s novel is stocked at the Bookface. His book is also available in India. It was among the 25 books shortlisted from 300 entries received to The Queensland Writers Centre’s Adaptable Program.

The book Murder Secret is about a serial killer who has killed five black women mysteriously but in an identical way except for his latest victim who is a guy. The residents of Cabarita Beach are furious to get him arrested. An investigation team with Jack Creed a detective in lead is formed to look into the case. Later a young lady Jo Boston-Wright, with no prior experience of solving a murder case, joins the investigation team. She is the only female officer in the male chauvinistic team that means that she will have to work hard to prove herself. Soon she finds a clue that hints at a retired ex-Military Police officer to be the killer. If her suspicion turns out to be true, it will be a breakthrough for her career.
