TV Interview of Guy Clapshaw at Newshub on Friday 07/10/16
Guy Clapshaw was a part of a TV interview for his book on ‘Tasman Echo Alpha’ at Newshub. During his interview, he gives us insight about what gems from the golden age of flying have been lost.
This book comprises of events from the life of Guy Clapshaw. Also including characters who support their crews in all kinds of stressful and emergency situations. It brings us to the time when airline flights were seen as something that brought magic and romance to life.
Guy Clapshaws career flung when he won an R.A.F flying scholarship at the age of seventeen. His training and education were of two-year at R.A.F pilot’s course. This is where his observation of all kinds of unique and technical aviation encounters took place. He has flown various jets from World War Two jets to Jumbo Jet 747. Reaching the age of eighty years, he still flies and intends to keep doing it until he gets it right.
