T.G. Trouper and Carley-Ann Osborn Featured in Newsquest

Two of our remarkable authors, T G Trouper and Carley-Ann Osborn, were recently spotlighted in Newsquest. In his article, Macaully Moffat reviewed their newly released novels, The Story – Be Careful What You Read and Pretend With Me. He praised both authors for their outstanding previous works and provided a rundown of each new book. Both novels are available for purchase here.

The Story – Be Careful What You Read revolves around Daniel and the reserved Gabby, who are preparing for a holiday in Kefalonia. Gabby buys an e-book for Daniel despite knowing it's not his usual genre. When Daniel reads it, he discovers it's a spy thriller with disturbing similarities to their own lives. As he continues reading, the book starts predicting their future and seems to communicate with him. Daniel's obsession with the book strains his relationship with Gabby, leading her to seek comfort elsewhere. Ultimately, Daniel realizes that he must never stop reading to avert the impending danger.

Pretend With Me is a story about Catherine Carell, who finds a new purpose when she crosses paths with Jackson Hunter, a seemingly perfect movie star. As their relationship intensifies and the boundaries between their professional and personal lives blur, Catherine's hidden secret becomes a looming threat. In a world where reality and illusion mix, she struggles to keep her secret under wraps. When the truth is finally revealed, it could either free them or destroy everything they believe in. The story explores themes of love, identity, and the impact of secrets, questioning whether the truth will lead to liberation or ruin.

T G Trouper, an Essex resident and author of three fast-paced action thrillers, has transitioned from a career in the live music industry to writing, which he now considers his top job. In addition to writing, he spends his time playing guitar and singing with his band or setting up sound equipment for international artists.

Carley-Ann Osborn, raised near London, has always been passionate about books, particularly those offering a deep character perspective. Although she wrote for her own enjoyment in her youth, her writing was sidelined until her mid-30s. Since then, her love for reading and writing has been reignited and continues to thrive.
