WHSmith in Leicester hosted a book signing event for the Childhoods Are Forever, an interesting memoir by Tony Muddimer. He was able to sign a few copies of his book and make some new connections. At the closing of the event, he felt satisfied and accomplished.

Childhoods Are Forever is an absorbing read about war-stricken families as seen through the eyes of a young boy. Tony shares his experience of getting through the times when his father was sent away on a special mission to get confidential information. He shares chronological developments as the family tries to make it through day to day and have to be relocated until the peace is made. He also shares his experience of brave soldiers and officers who worked with his father and his link with Ian Fleming.

Tony Muddimer was born sometime before the second world war thus his childhood witnessed the stressful war, shortage of food and uncertain times. Postwar he also got to meet the bravest and inspiring men of his nation.
