Successful Book Launch Event of The Aesthetics of Literary Discourse in Modern Arabic Literature
Under the patronage of the mayor of Nazareth Ali Salam and the Mahmoud Darwish Centre in Nazareth, a cultural evening was held to mark and celebrate the book The Aesthetics of Literary Discourse in Modern Arabic Literature. The evening was attended by a large audience interested in literature and culture, as well as the local writers and poets mentioned in the book.
The Aesthetics of Literary Discourse in Modern Arabic Literature is a book that examines the aesthetics of narrative and other aesthetic values used by literary dissertations through the works of some Arab and Palestinian writers.
Dr Muhammad Khalil has a PhD degree in Arabic Literature and Criticism. He is an established literary critic, writer, and a lecturer at the Academic Arab College for Education in Haifa. Khalil has published 20 books to his credit and dozens of articles as well. He is a member of the Board of Editors of Shaza al-Karmel literary magazine. Khalil is also a member of the Observation Committee of al-Karmel Union of the Palestinian Writers – Haifa.
