The Star Newspaper featured an article about the author of ‘Sansa (the Not-So-Smelly Skunk)’
Tracey Barker, the author of ‘Sansa (the Not-So-Smelly Skunk)’ was later featured in a Newspaper article by The Star, Sheffield Newspaper. The article mentioned that the book presents an important message for young children about friendship and being non-judgmental towards others who may be different to them.
The book ‘Sansa (the Not-So-Smelly Skunk)’ is the tale of author’s two unusual pets, Sansa and Osha. Sansa is a lovely skunk who loves to play around but she doesn’t have any friends. She is always in search of a good friend with whom she can run, skip and jump. But as the story reaches the end she finds a friend, another skunk named Osha.
The author Tracey Baker lives with her family in Sheffield. She loves animals and has very unique animals as her pets including Sansa. Tracey has been writing since childhood, she also won a public speaking competition where she read her short story at the age of Eleven.
She writes lovely stories for children and in her stories she gives the lesson of love for animals. She tries to write engaging stories for young readers so they can easily learn and understand the lesson within these stories.
