Author of the book ‘The Bee Hive’, Mr. Simon Adepetun is to be interviewed by John Gilmore at BBC Radio Lancashire. The author will be responding to the questions regarding his latest work, inspirations behind his work and his upcoming projects.
This is the story of an eleven-year-old kid Daniel Jeremiah who wants to escape his problems because his parents are very busy and they won’t listen to him and then there is his sister, Alice, about whom Dan is sure that she is an Alien.
It is when his friend Benji introduces him to an empty Bee Hive which they think they would convert it into a den which is not as simple as it seems and things go wrong when Alice pokes her nose in their business. Two men show up in the den to take what is theirs and then there is a bank too.
This book is a sharp little hesitation in young Daniel’s life and what’s the hesitation, well shut up! Alice.
