The Shropshire Star has featured a review about the debut novel of Phil Marsh which has inspired many people in the Cleobury Mortimer and Clee Hill area. The author says about his book ‘My book ties legends and landmarks from around the area into the story. It is pure fiction but uses the landscape to create what could have happened to make them landmarks, from why the spire is twisted on St Mary's in Cleobury to the destruction of Witley Court, and how long ago the Long Mynd was created to what the white casing on Clee Hill is really hiding.’

The story of the book is about a lady Shiara who is a wise woman. She is a woman of great values and reverence who will do anything for the cause of good. If anything goes wrong, she will try hard to make it right even if she has to do the wrong thing at that time.

A lynx which was familiar to her is gone missing and now she sets upon an expedition to find it. She is helped by a lot of people on her way and is followed by a lot of adventures.

The author, Phil Marsh used to write songs in high school, most of which ended up as poems. As he got older, he got mature in his writing and it filled with a lot of imaginations and fun.
