Rose Miller Attended the Flower Festival Held at Willow Wood Hospice, Ashton
The author of Alex and His Magic Dragon, Rose Miller attended the flower event held at Willow Wood Hospice, Ashton on 11th and 12th June 2019. A huge number of families arrived to enjoy the fragrance and colours of different flowers and buy some for their loved ones. It was a pleasant day at the beach. The author said that she enjoyed her time there in nature. She said that the weather, beach, flowers, and books combined made these two days perfect. She further stated that she read stories to the children and sold a few copies of her books.
The story of Alex and His Magic Dragon is about an eight-year-old boy Jones, whose life revolves around going to school, playing football, going to bed early, forcefully listen to his sister’s flute and eat the food he doesn’t like. One day he finds a magic dragon egg cup and names it Flicker. His life turns into heaven as whatever he wishes for is fulfilled with just the flick of Flicker’s tail.
The author Rose Miller is the grandma of two. During her stay in Saudi Arabia, she gained extensive experience in teaching English to Arabic children. She has worked in countries including Malta, Libya and Saudi Arabia.
