‘Azarias Tor: The History Maker’, is an inspirational contemporary book by Richard Abbott-Brailey and he talked to BBC Radio Newcastle, about what led him towards exploring this particular topic. It requires a higher level of understanding to write about something like history and its paradigms.

Richard, has worked in the retail sector previously but later he turned towards education and got his bachelor’s degree. He is currently a school teacher and lives in Northumberland.

The unique premise of his book explore the question that many people may have in their mind. Are we making history or is history molding us into who we are? Many philosophers, great thinkers and scientists have spoken on the matter.

The author dives into great detail on how events and other people can have impact on the person and how they can take control of everything to make history. He talks about how we should not let others shape our future for us. We should do our utmost best to ensure that our future is ours.
