Radio FIVEaa interviewed Jim Hermel of ‘Twelve Tales of Terror’
Jim Hermel of ‘Twelve Tales of Terror’ was recently interviewed by Radio FIVEaa about his latest book. The author discussed his book during the interview and talked about the key aspects regarding his book.
Jim wrote this book after getting motivated by supernatural and paranormal activities, spending hours in the library reading about such stories. He was an avid reader of horror stories and when the television came, he became a regular viewer of every horror television show.
Later on, in his life, he as a travelling musician spent hours in driving to gigs, often more than 1000 kilometres. His journeys took him through many places across Australia, giving him plenty of locations, inspirations and time to create characters and storylines of all of these twelve stories. All of the locations in his stories provide a fascinating backdrop for the characters and takes its readers from a normal everyday world into the supernatural world.
The author, Jim Hermel was born in Adelaide, South Australia. As a long time musician, he has written many historical and promotional articles for music magazines under the title of ‘Jim Hermel’. He has had an interest in writing since the very beginning and his fascination for fictional writing has led to his first fiction book; ‘Twelve Tales of Terror’.
