Rachel Farren Inspired the Book Club Event
The author of MiDei Pa'am, Rachel Farren, drove a book event where she read the excerpts from her classical historical fiction. The attendees were very keen to get the insights of the book directly from its amazing author.
The book enlightens about a Berlin Jew named Manny Blumenthal who survived the “Kristallnacht, the night of broken glass” and concentration camp to avoid the catastrophe. Showing courage and bravery, he managed to hold his ground by liaising with Maeve who resembled a lot to Sara, his pre-war love. Manny’s resilience stumbled when his life revealed the dark side of Kristallnacht and he has to face his demons in post-war, leaving himself in jeopardy.
