The protagonists are navigated by religious traditions shaping their existence and leading up to startling hazardous personal gambles.
Yermiyahu Ahron Taub has previously published six poetry books and this is his first collection of short stories. Taub was awarded as one of New York’s best emerging Jewish artists by the Museum of Jewish Heritage. He was also nominated four times for a Pushcart Prize and twice for a Best of the Net Award. He shared the 2012 Yiddish Book Center Translation Prize for Oedipus in Brooklyn and Other Stories by Blume Lempe with Ellen Cassedy.
