Port Stephens Examiner Published the Interview of Author John Lane
Author John Lane’s interview was published by a newspaper’s website Port Stephens Examiner for his debut book Going Back for the Back Beat on 14th June 2019. John candidly spoke about his life in the interview. The author said he had never thought of writing a book that too about a rock music band. He was drying the dishes when the idea of writing a book struck him. He shared it with his wife and she encouraged him throughout the process. John thanked Austin Macauley for accepting his manuscript and guiding him on every step.
The book Going Back for the Back Beat is about a rock band The Freightrain Hobos. The story revolves around Ethan, Denny and Brian who are at the stage of realization that their music belongs to some other time and world. The author John Lane hails from Sydney, Australia. He lived his life surfing and travelling throughout Europe, America and England. He is happily living with his family in New South Wales.
