Patricia Hutson is featured in Rayleigh Review with her debut novel 'Purple Michaelmas'

This is a story of happiness and heartache in equal measure, a story of true abiding love and passion one that is forbidden and can only be known by two people.

The author weaves her story in a series of the here and now, and wistful reminiscences, that shows the reader the lives of two people who should have been together, but one that the fates won't allow, and cruelly only allows snatched moments giving them a taste of what might have been.
