On 13th August 2019, the interview of Kenneth Louis Shepherd was published in an online newspaper Maldon Burnham Standard. While talking to the newspaper Kenneth shared his love for art and history. His book To Be or Not to Be is reflective of the extensive research he did on many unsung and popular artists, especially those who paint town scenes. He added that he had no plans of publishing his book, but his niece told him to give it a try and to his surprise, the Austin Macauley Publishers published his debut book.
