Austin Macauley’s fantastic author, Noel D Conway, organised his book launch on 27th March 2021 on YouTube. During the launch, he spoke about his book, ‘God, Land, And Iron’, and commented that ‘Nathaniel Shawcross’s, the lead, was digging out iron ore once in his father’s gallery when an event took place and that a near death-incident proved to be a turning point for his life.” Watch the book launch on YouTube here.

Noel Conway has lived in the Eastern side of Shropshire for more than forty years. The writer was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease seven years ago and is paralysed ever since. He loved walking climbing and skiing but ever since his disease, he has devoted himself to writing. He appreciates the fact that he lives in a city, Shropshire, rich in history and culture.
