Austin Macauley Publishers’ very own author Bruce Ian Collins’ book My Own Expert was featured by a famous book blogger, Geet (@drficticity) on November 18, 2019. Geet gave a special shout out to the book using the hashtag #internationalgiveaway for the author’s first non-fiction book which is actually sort of an autobiography.

In the book, the author focused on the mental illness called OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) which is fairly common in the population, as he is a life-long sufferer of this condition. The author goes in depth giving detailed accounts of his troubles and challenges. Living with the condition for over three decades, the author accurately states the symptoms and effects of the condition from the start of own diagnosis.

Bruce Ian Collins is an upcoming author and this is his first book published by Austin Macauley Publishers. He grew up in London but now lives in a small village in the Lake District with his family. Suffering from OCD since his childhood, Bruce decided to write his autobiographical account to bring attention of the public to this complex condition through his book.
