The Sun Newspaper has featured the author and film editor Tariq Anwar, who has won two British Academy Film and Television Awards and referred to his memoir, Movers and Shakers, The Monster Makers. The article talked about the allegations movie star Tom Cruise was subjected to after publication of Tariq’s famous memoir.

Movers and Shakers, The Monster Makers is an interesting read about a peek at the not so glamorous world behind the screen of the film industry.  This book offers a look into the feudal nature of the industry. The characters behind the stage are as interesting as the characters behind it. Tariq Anwar has a career of over 50 years in the media and has worked with all sort of people. He is credited with contributions to many award-winning TV productions and films. When he was five years old, he moved to England from India, following a separation between his Austrian mother and Indian father. He has a sister Farida and a brother Peter. He is married to Shirley and has two children and four grandchildren.
