A book launch event was organised recently by Peter Comerford, the author of The Maliau Caves Adventures. The event was attended by a wide array of people from different age groups. It was a lively gathering where the audience freely interacted with the author and bought his signed copies.

Peter Comerford is a retired teacher who spent 20 years teaching in Papua New Guinea, including as Principal of Panguna International Primary School. He returned to Sydney in 1990 after the civil war and the closure of the Panguna copper mine.
